PAKPAC is looking for a part time undergraduate intern studying in the Washington, DC area or willing to live in Washington for six to eight weeks. This exciting opportunity will allow you to not only personally meet leaders of the Pakistani American community, but Democratic and Republican elected officials.
The intern will work developing talking points, policy briefs, infographics, press releases and other material. Web design and social media advocacy experience is strongly encouraged. In the process, the intern will learn about the nexus between politics and policy having a front row seat during the 2020 elections.
Applicants should have a strong interest in current affairs and public policy. Our work is at the highest levels of Washington and on the campaign.

I had the best summer of life because of PAKPAC. I grew up in Texas and go to school in Pennsylvania. This is the first election that I will be able to vote. Since elementary school, I have always believed that what makes America great is that we have a voice and we can speak up. While in Washington, my time with PAKPAC allowed me to meet Congressmen and Senators. I learned how Washington really functions and that if we, as Pakistani Americans, do not tell our story unfortunately someone else will.
