I am excited to work with PAKPAC to help a movement dedicated to strengthening Pakistani-American relations. As a first generation Pakistani-American, I hope to create an environment for my generation and future generations where we can embrace our dual identities. As a passionate advocate for social justice and inclusivity for all, I believe PAKPAC is the perfect platform for me to connect with my roots and advocate for civil liberties internationally.
I had the best summer of life because of PAKPAC. I grew up in Texas and go to school in Pennsylvania. This is the first election that I will be able to vote. Since elementary school, I have always believed that what makes America great is that we have a voice and we can speak up. While in Washington, my time with PAKPAC allowed me to meet Congressmen and Senators. I learned how Washington really functions and that if we, as Pakistani Americans, do not tell our story unfortunately someone else will.
