This effort led to Congressman McCormick introducing H.Res.901 in support of Democracy and Human Rights in Pakistan which overwhelmingly passed in 2024 in the House of Representatives. Congressman McCormick remains an ally of the Pakistani American community and serves in House Armed Services and House Foreign Affairs Committee.
