Dr Uzma Rehman Ali is a board certified Orthopedic Hand surgeon. Practicing in Metro Detroit area. She is involved in the education of the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. She joined and has served as President of the Michigan Chapter.
Dr. Umar Farooq is a board-certified internist with private practice in Bensalem, Pennsylvania (PA). He is also a designated civil surgeon for the USCIS. In his professional leadership role, Dr. Farooq serves as a Certified Medical Director at several skilled nursing facilities. He has been recognized as Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctor 2024 and Castle Connolly’s Top Doctor since 2013. In 2022, Jefferson Health System honored him as ‘Physician of the Year.’ In 2021, the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA) awarded him the ‘Humanitarian Services Award.’
Dr. Farooq is widely known for his dedication to community health, education, and political advocacy across diverse ethnic communities. Through his educational initiatives, he mentors foreign medical students and graduates, helping them gain clinical experience in the U.S. He is affiliated with multiple residency programs and serves as the Head of Outpatient Medicine for Internal Medicine residents at Lower Bucks Hospital, PA.
Dr. Farooq’s civic engagement extends to serving on the Hospital Board Authority for St. Mary Medical Center, PA. In 2022, he was elected to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee, where he also chairs the New American and Ethnic Coordinating Caucus. His political activism gained momentum in 2011 when he ran for the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
An advocate for social justice and community unity, Dr. Farooq is actively involved with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Bucks County chapter. In addition, he chairs the Board of Trustees for the Pakistani American Society (PAS) of PA. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering connections among communities in the region.

Dr. Umer Farooq is an internist based in Germantown Tennessee and is the President of PAKPAC’s Tennessee chapter. He presently works at the Saint Francis Park Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Farooq received his medical degree from Army Medical College Quaid-e-Azam Univ and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
He is the Vice president Memphis Islamic Center. The largest Islamic center in North America and is a volunteer physician at MMMC, a Charitable community medical clinic providing free health to the community at large.
He previously served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Pleasantview School, a local school providing education to the Community, and was President Pakistan Association of Memphis, a non-profit organization catering to the needs of local Pakistani Americans residing in the mid-south region.

Dr. Imran Jamil is an Addiction Specialist, Psychiatrist, who has been serving the NJ population since the past 5 years. In 2000 during his electives at Yale University, he developed an interest in research. In 2005, he joined an Alzheimer’s disease research at New York University. He published a few research articles including two book chapters on Alzheimer’s disease. He also completed an Addiction Fellowship and started working as a Medical Director of a psychiatry unit. He is currently working as an Assistant professor of Psychiatry and teaching and monitoring medical students and residents.
Dr Jamil is an active member of the Jersey City local Pakistani American community. That is actively involved in recognizing the helpful influence of the growing Pakistani American community, involved in improving the Hudson County community. In addition, continuously improving and making a positive impact both locally and globally. He constantly engages in the Pakistani local politics and annual Independence Day Pakistan annual flag hoisting ceremony at the City hall of Jersey City. He has received multiple Citations from the Jersey City Hall for community services. He takes great pleasure in being a helpful part of the community and understands the importance of civic actions and public services. He is inspired by the historic words of John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”.

Naghma Malik, MBBS, D.M.C.H, MPH is a physician with extensive leadership experience in medical and community organizations. She has served as President of AIMCAANA and President of the APPNA Ohio Chapter. Khalid Mirza came to the USA in 1974, completed his Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Long Island University, New York. Presently lives in Fort Lauderdale with his wife Diana. He has and successfully managed healthcare companies specializing in geriatric rehab and presently serves as President of U.H. I. Community Care Clinic, a free clinic providing preventive care to the uninsured and underserved population in South Florida.
He is CoFounder of COSMOS, (Coalition of South Florida Muslims Organizations) a bridge builder between different communities through education, outreach in South Florida.
He is on the Executive Board of Directors of Americans for Immigrant Justice (A.I.J. ) which provides legal services fighting for the rights of immigrants and previously served as a Board member, and later President of the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Miami, was a Board member and later as Chairman of the Nur Ul Islam Academy in Broward County, Florida, and served on the Board and later as Chairman of the Islamic Center of Greater Miami for more than 30 years.
He is also involved in promoting and fundraising for several Pakistani non profit organizations : Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Child Life foundation , Akhuwat Foundation, Children’s Heart hospital,Lahore, Deaf Reach Schools.
